Decent accommodation for staying for one day, clean, simple, staff friendly. Breakfast in the morning was continental, you can choose from three egg dishes, was enough. The problem was thin walls, so noise travels easily. We traveled in winter, so not many guest, my guess is that in summer time must be noisy.

We drove there from <barcelona to eat lunch in the restaurant and stayed overnight to lighten the driving in one day. The food and attention are fabulous and reasonably priced for its high quality.

The room was just as in the pictures. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom too. The parking spot is good, you can use a private key to access the parking lot during the night. It might be far away from the city center but in our case it was not a problem.

Figueres is a slightly shabby town though perfectly friendly and people mostly come here for the Dali museum. Were stayed for a couple of days rest at the end of our long GR11 hike - its much cheaper than Barcelona! tbh though there isn't a lot to do here.

Very nice little town!!
Very nice little town!! People are nice , the restaurants are affordable, they had a really nice food market on Thursday morning! It was perfect!
Its a little town though so 3-4 days is long enough ;)
Be sure to visit the Dali Museum, it’s just unfortunate that the paintings are not better explained. An audio guide would have been appreciated.
The best churros were right around the corner from Duran Hotel!!!

I didn't come for the Dali Museum and didn't go to it.
I didn't come for the Dali Museum and didn't go to it. But Figueres is a pleasant and friendly town and I enjoyed exploring it. It is also a good base for visiting and walking in the surrounding countryside. I had a couple of excellent longish walks in the Serra de Rodes (on two of the megalithic trails) and there is clearly much more to explore.

Trip to the Salvadore Dali museum was excellent,
Food in some cafes inexpensive even in the main Ramblas area.
Visited the St Ferran castillo (N11A north of Figueres). English tours ob specific days of the week. In my opinion not suitable if walking is restricted. There is a 20 min overview in several languages inside. 5€ for standard enttrance. Guided tour 16 euros.

It’s better to go when it’s less crowded, around 12 it’s full of people so better to go earlier in the morning. It takes about 3 hours to observe everything.
If you plan on having a english speaking guide plan way ahead.

I was just passing through to the Pyrenees and it is a good destination to get to from Barcelona by train if you are planning to cycle the Pyranees as I did. The real only attraction in the town is Dali's museum which I never visited. The train from Barcelona is fast and stops only 3 times before reaching Figueres. It does seem as if it is used by a large number of comuters that live in Girona and travel the hour into the city every day so best times to travel areout of peak hours.
The breakfast is amazing with fresh made granola and beautifully ripened perfectly cut fruit. It isn’t a buffet so everything is freshly prepared to order and doesn’t take long. I would not want to stay anywhere in Figueres but Hotel Emporda.
The location is great with plenty of parking and an easy walk to some great restaurants and bars. Tony’s had delicious food both times we have been there.
There is a very comfortable parking located just next to the hotel - pretty much impossible to park otherwise. During our breakfast we had a busker play gentle guitar on the street just below the windows - an unforgetable experience. You can't get any closer to the museum and the location is fantastic for exploring Figueres. Overall a great place to stay!
Best location to explore Figueres without a car. The Dali museum was our main reason for going to Figueres - but the apartments were so comfortable we could have stayed there a week. Everything was clean and worked well. Looked out our window to see a 1000 year old church and the Dali plaza. Great food just steps away. What more could you want?
Very nice space and located close to the Dali Museum. It had the most comfortable bed I’ve every slept on in Spain. The living space was also comfortable and nicely decorated. The place was surprisingly quiet since it’s located in a busy area. I also liked the videos explaining the features and expectations of the apartment.
The hotel was great with a nice lounge area. Dining was open and well laid out. With plenty of outdoor seating areas. The room was smart and the bathroom marble everywhere with a powerful and hot shower. And the extra is free secure gated parking, ideal for anybody with a car full of holiday stuff with roof racks and bikes.
This is a rather nice and classy place, especially for the money. Kind of strange to find such a hotel in this location, which is on the outskirts of a small, sleepy town. They have decent parking, including space for some larger vehicles (I had a high-roof van, for example).
+ Baby travel bed was provided. Safe to play and sleep in.
+ Very good location with less than 500 meters to the center of Figueres
+ Breakfast is good value for money and the decor at the ground floor is very nice
+ Triple room is quite spacious
The receptionist/hotel managerat the front desk was so helpful and welcoming. The location of the hotel was a two minute walk from the Dali Theater museum and close to a wide variety of restaurants
Hotel Pirineos is our standard hotel during our ride from Amsterdam to Valencia. Nice welcome as always. Breakfast great with a lot of choice. Room with balcony and bathroom perfect and clean.
Very clean and comfortable hotel. Exactly what we were looking for in an overnight stay - nothing too fancy but had everything we needed . Excellent breakfast with a good choice of products.
We have been in Trave few months ago and we liked it so we stayed there again. Hotel is nice, staff is friendly and helpful and location is good. We'll come back again soon.
Hotel a few minutes from center of town. Bed large and comfortable. Good shower. Good sized desk. Good wifi in room. Hotel parking available across the street.
